Gack, running late. Typical, no? Boo!

Final Fantasy XIV

Main Storyline

New Gridania

Battle at the sacred tree.

These guys are doing the destroying but are not the actual instigators of the trouble. Bad tempered though. Heh heh

I’ve come with the rangers to stop them.

Now this guy is the one behind the current troubles.

And he really wants to win.

The mysterious duo shows up once more to help.

Later, I speak with the leader of Gridania

Lots of things to learn. And she’s chosen me for a role in an upcoming celebration.

Oooh! Hope I will be able to make stuff like that some day!

People getting together.

I’m wearing a ceremonial mask representing those who helped during the calamity years ago.

Which in turn…

Unexpectedly gives me visions of the past and the disaster from before.

Things are very grim.

The leaders of the battle to defend the planet.

Dude on the bad side.

After the vision, went to meet the leader again in a special garden. So pretty!

Isn’t that neat? She realizes more trouble is coming and wants me to deliver messages to the other two leaders.

Cure little guy right in the middle. Awwww.

And off I go!

Morning all!

Final Fantasy XIV

Old Gridania

Lancer Guild

This guy has different views on how Lancers should be. He might just become my characters future boyfriend. If he doesn’t get me killed. lol.

That’s my sensei in the background. First met the rival when he came to challenge everyone in the dojo. My master would not rise to his taunts. Heh heh

Central Shroud

Riding my first Chocobo! Woot! What’s truly hilarious is they play a Bonanza like song when you ride the Chocobo from station to station. Hee!

Some Aardvark like creatures that have been causing trouble. Nifty little tents!

Though the local tents are also cool. And new armor!

Hah! A closeup!

Hubby is staring up at the Mail station. The mail guy looks so cute!

Pet Caster’s pet. Cutest things ever!

I so love all the lovely detail!

Wharf area at night

Some mound burial crypts out in the Shroud zone.

Inside one of them. Before we got mauled. Heh heh

Our first view of the Adventurer’s housing area. Really cool. And so expensive! Gack!

Have a super Sunday!

Morning!

Fencon has been a ton of fun so far. Trying to get this done before we go back for the last day. 🙂

Final Fantasy XIV

New/Old Gridania

Main Storyline

Revelations!

Me!

Crystal Shards full of life and power

Big sucker!

Recurring character – she and her partner show up all sorts of places. 🙂

He screams slime! (I should run out of pics with the UI in them soon?)

I do love the buildings!

One of the pets for pet masters and look at the cute fairy!

Night time.

I think my finger wasn’t fast enough here?

More trouble

See, here they are again to help me out or give info. 😛

This is my Inn Room! Nice, no?

Fountain to the side.

Lovely desk and windows!

The door

Main lobby of the Adventurer’s guild

Love the stained glass!

Gorgeous, no?

So pretty!

Have an awesome Sunday!

Morning!

Final Fantasy XIV

New/Old Gridania and Central Shroud

This is like a shopping mall of sorts. Tons of independent vendors and access to the trade board/

The outside of the Lancers Guild – Guilds here mean professions. Your player guilds are called Free Companies

Lance Master giving me instruction.

All the buildings are just so cute!!

Central Shroud – That’s a forest guardian. Really neat looking. Normally not aggro, but later on…

Side shot of the Inn/Meeting hall. So pretty!

Lovely no?

Giant face mask in the Lancers Guild.

Lovely night sky!

Chocobo farm in Bentbrook (I think that’s the name)

Things that need killing. lol. 🙂

My second set of armor. Kind of nice hot having every inch of skin showing like in some other games. 🙂

Nightime in Gridania

Really love this place

Chocobo rental spot. You can’t use it till level 15 or so. Cheaper than teleporing and they play a Bonanza style song, which cracked me up!

Main storyline film. Trying to find a masked stranger causing trouble by going to the old stump.

These two adventurers keep popping up in my life. They’re investigating odd phenomena due to energy surges.

The disruption has just made the nice treant go mad.

No idea about this – yet look at the detail! lol. I think I wasn’t fast enough with the trigger pic finger. 😛

Things are happening!

Yes, I’ve been going a little photo crazy. DOH!

Happy Sunday!

Skyrim

Ivarsread – tombs

Ivasread is a super small town – 3 buildings! But they live right next to a tomb/crypt system. This table with embalming tools is on the top floor.

An amazingly fancy and still very shiny door

Does not inspire confidence, does it?

The man aka “ghost” responsible for all the recent fear in town. He invented a potion that made him appear insubstantial. From his journal, he’s been slowly losing his mind here for the last 6 months searching for a ruby claw. (I didn’t find it either before bad luck happened to me….)

Fancier set of doors – when opened shooting flames of fire came out! If I’d been in a hurry, I would have been barbequed! (You can see some of the fire in the pic!)

Where the flames came from. Nasty! Whole place had trap zones. Eek!

A carved mural in the main crypt room

A second one. Rather detailed, no?

Riften

I made the mistake of trying to pick a lock in the 3 building town…Got grabbed and sent to who knows where for the second time. Argh! Peeps currently in power.

Is that or is that not the most angry (and weird looking) walrus ever?

Loved the stone covered walkway

First look at the town proper. Below is another level with docks in the water. So this part of the city would be considered elevated?

May your day be full of awesomeness!

Morning all!

Skyrim

Sweeping beneath the mountain toward the Monastery

Still making my way towards Ivargread

A cold but beautiful night

Wolves are a coming

Seems spiders roam outside of caves as well. DOH

I saw the Sign! Finally on a road going where I need to. lol

Thanks to a camp of Legionnaires, I was able to spruce up the quality of the vampire armor enough to make it worthwhile to wear.

Looks pretty good on me, no? (Though I think I inadvertently sold my helmet. lol)

This camp is also where I found that places like these don’t mark property as being ‘stolen’ – so weird.

Ivargread – finally! Though that’s when I got the weird message as the sun set…I’m getting very thirsty. Dang it! I think I’ve caught vampire cooties. Need to remember to see if I have a cure disease potion…

Hope you have a super restful day!

TERA

Dragon Temple

This place is so cool! 🙂

Yes, skulls do add just the right touch! 🙂

About to run into trouble.

Impressive

Ewwwwww

Look at that ceiling!

Super nasty dude.

There’s a guy in the shell driving it! Dang!

Love the atmosphere.

Lovely! Taking scales to a whole new level.

And ending with this little beauty

Closer view of that ceiling

Mummified dragon head?

Nice columns

Blood fountain. That can’t bode well. Ack! Forgot to take the UI out. Grrr.

Have a fantastic Sunday!

TERA

Alamanthea Area

Oooooh! Magic! So cool!

I don’t think the natives are friendly.

Ooooh! Hidden Shrine?

Dragon Temple

We’re heading towards trouble.

Love the sunlight shafts!

Good things have not happened here.

Gorgeous though, isn’t it?

Okay, this rocks!

Super cool architecture too.

You can feel the humidity. 😛

Awesome ceiling.

Love the floor work, though not the little buggers in the corner. 😛

Have a lovely day!

Morning!

Still fighting my failing drive and the new backup setup. Progress us slow….

But on the Happy Side! I have seen what should be the last draft (before they add the titles, blurbs, etc) of the Cover for Jewel of the Gods. Booyah!

The publisher is still hoping for it to be ready to reveal for purchase during ArmadilloCon 7/24-26! Woot! *fingerscrossed* If you want a sneak peak at the book (since I still don’t have the pages up at the site (argh!) (Hello To Do List!) you can find Chapters 1, 2, and 3 on the blog. (With over a years delay in getting it published, you’d think I’d have more stuff together…But nooooooo!)

TERA

Val Palrada

Isn’t he just too cool?

Such a good boy!

Love the magic/holographic sign.

Look at the gorgeous dress!

Front side and a peek at hubby. (Yeah, he’s the short one)

Cool setup and with the awesome sky – double so!

Look at the gorgeous tile work!

Drool

Just a hint of sexy and cool forms.

The jungle around Val Palrada

Quaint way station

The Hatchery – Arachnea

Close look at nastiness. Can you see the beady eyes?

Eggsacs and wrapped up food. Eek!

Oh! Nice room!

Such an impressive ceiling!

Confrontation time!

So determined.

And look at this floor! Lovely!

Truly thankful for all the hard work of the artist on these games! Thank you!

Morning!

Skyrim

Just running around you run into all sorts of places!

Such a lovely view!

Bet this is so cool in the summer.

Has a bit of a pest problem though.

Lovely night for a full moon

Stars!

Neat carving (though it might also be a creature’s head) – the witch who lives here was not very friendly.

Super interesting life form. A type of nymph? The witch had already killed it.

Such a large mountain!

Oh yeah, I’m a bad kitty!

This is the main room of a nest of vampires. Vampires! Had not been expecting those.

Statue looks super old.

Hope you’ve had a fabulous weekend!
